The SMART4ENV Summer School

The SMART4ENV summer school, organized by TUBITAK MARMARA ARASTIRMA MERKEZI, took place at the TUBITAK Gebze Campus from 2nd to 4th October 2023. This event provided an exceptional platform for researchers, MS and PhD students to network, share practices, and engage with high-level experts in the field. The program aimed to foster collaboration and exchange ideas on innovative and cost-effective ways to monitor city air quality.

The summer school offered a diverse range of sessions and workshops, addressing topics such as smart sensors, data analytics, IoT applications, and emerging technologies. Participants were exposed to the latest advancements in environmental monitoring techniques, enabling them to develop a comprehensive understanding of low-cost solutions. The event also facilitated valuable networking opportunities, encouraging interdisciplinary dialogue and potential future collaborations.

STAKEHOLDERS’ INNOVATION WEEK

Following the success of the summer school, the SMART4ENV project continued its momentum by organizing the Stakeholders’ Innovation Week on the 5th and 6th of October 2023. This event brought together stakeholders, industry experts, policymakers, and researchers to discuss and showcase innovative solutions for tackling environmental challenges.
