GIS for Disaster Risk Reduction Workshop

We are excited to announce its participation in the prestigious International Training-cum-Workshop on the integration of GIS and Disaster Risk Reduction for a Resilient and Sustainable Community. Organized by the Department of Environmental Science at Integral University, Lucknow, in collaboration with the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) of Uttar Pradesh, the workshop aims to foster knowledge sharing and strengthen capabilities in the field of disaster risk reduction.

The week-long workshop, slated to take place from 29th November 2023 to 5th December 2023, will be conducted in a hybrid mode, combining in-person and virtual participation. Participants from across the world will come together to explore the integration of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and disaster risk reduction strategies for building resilient and sustainable communities.
