SiTeS Presents at University of Chester Entrepreneurship Event

25th March 2024, University of Chester, United Kingdom

Our CEO, Mr. Leonardo Piccinetti, presented the SMART4ENV project today at an entrepreneurship and circular business model event held at the University of Chester. The event was attended by students, academics, and industry leaders from the sustainability and environmental sectors.

As we one of the partners of the SMART4ENV project, SiTeS is proud to work on Smart Environmental solutions that could help protect our planet and bring more circular economy business models into the market. The event focused on the Circular Business Model and its principles, benefits and case studies featuring the SMART4ENV project.

Mr. Piccinetti’s presentation provided valuable insights into the Circular Business Model, which aims to create a regenerative system where waste is minimized, resources are used effectively, and the environmental impact is reduced. He emphasized the importance of shifting from a linear (take-make-dispose) model to a circular model that closes the resource loop and creates sustainable solutions.

Attendees were treated to examples of circular economy business models as demonstrated by the SMART4ENV project, which includes Enhancing the scientific capacity of TUBITAK MAM in the field of smart environmental technologies for climate change challenges. The case studies presented by Mr. Piccinetti illustrated how SiTeS is leading the way in sustainable business practices and helping to create a better future for us all.

SiTeS is committed to sustainable development and environmental responsibility, and we are proud to be part of the SMART4ENV project. We believe that this collaborative effort will lead to tangible solutions to the environmental challenges facing our world and bring more circular economy business models in practice.
