On the 21st February 2024. SiTes has participated at the competition startup event “UCD HULT PRIZE OnCampus Competition 2024”. The Hult Prize offering a grand prize of $1 million to the team that devises the most creative and impactful solution to some of the world’s most urgent issues. This prestigious competition is spearheaded by students lead by Najwa khader , Ms. student in UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science and is supported by UCD Innovation Academy. The winner of the UCD OnCampus program will advance to the regional summit taking place in Lisbon, Portugal, in June with a potential to progress to Global Summit in London, in September.
Sites has been invited to the competition by Najwa Khader, Campus Director for Hult Prize at UCD. She is one of us voluntary intern in Sites, which gives in our company a valuable contribution about Sustainable Agriculture & Rural Development in realm of Agri -Food Sustainability.Thank you Najwa for your support!
During the event, there were ten different startups which have presented their entrepreneurial idea. It was amazing talking about various and innovative projects, from sustainability to Information Technology (IT), health and wellness, smart technologies and social initiatives. There was very interesting to have the possibility to join this innovation journey with students who wants to change the world.
