SiTeS organized with high professionalism the study tour for the MC2 project delegation over four days in the United Kingdom. The visit comes as one of the outcomes of the MC2 project, in which SiTeS plays the responsibility of leading and managing the plan for Dissemination, Communication and Knowledges
SiTeS has been preparing for the study tour over the course of several months, by communicating with stakeholders in the United Kingdom, choosing places to visit that are compatible with the objectives of the project, and building bridges of communication to pave the way for joint cooperation between the United Kingdom and Egypt resulting from that study tour.
SiTeS played a decisive role in preparing the visit’s agenda with high professionalism, as well as completing all procedures and facilities from all aspects with high precision. SiTeS also completed all logistical procedures for the Egyptian delegation and obtaining visas due to SiTeS’s work experience in the Middle East region.
The study tour to the United Kingdom aims to enhance and strengthen cooperation between Egypt and the United Kingdom in the field of sustainable development, green transformation and green technology for start-ups, medium and small companies, as well as Egyptian entrepreneurs and innovators. Given that SiTeS is one of the leading start-up companies in the field of sustainable development in Europe and internationally, it made this study tour a nucleus for creating many investment opportunities for cooperation between Egypt and the United Kingdom in the field of green technology.
SiTeS organized a visit for the Egyptian delegation during the first day of the study tour to the University of Edinburgh, which is one of the entrepreneurs in creating the green future in both the United Kingdom and Europe in terms of research and innovation. The two countries and the Egyptian delegation went to visit the university’s famous center for green innovations Bayes Centre
During the second day of the study tour, SiTeS also organized a visit to another pioneer of the green transformation in Europe and internationally, namely Strathclyde Business School. The Egyptian delegation received a warm welcome from the famous school. The visit lasted several hours during which the two sides discussed the latest local and international developments in green technology and exchanged visions about cooperation. Between both Egypt and the United Kingdom, discussions have resulted in a unified vision between the two parties on how to find common opportunities for potential cooperation
SiTeS also organized, during the third day of the study tour, a visit for the Egyptian delegation to the famous built environment smart transformation factory. The Egyptian delegation was warmly welcomed by the factory management.
The Egyptian delegation appreciated the amazing technology it saw in the factory for reusing wasted agricultural and industrial materials and using them to produce environmentally friendly materials. The delegation gained great experience by watching closely and closely observing that technology. The Egyptian delegation discussed how to localize these industries in Egypt with the help of the famous factory and creating opportunities. joint for cooperation
