On 27 November 2025, SITES took part in the All-Island Circular Venture Awards 2025, held at ESB, 27 Fitzwilliam Street Lower, Dublin, an event that brought together Ireland’s most innovative circular economy ventures and sustainability-driven startups.
Representing SITES, Marsela Lesaj attended the pitch sessions, where entrepreneurs and innovators presented breakthrough solutions that accelerate Ireland’s transition toward a regenerative, circular economy. The event was organised by Irish Manufacturing Research (IMR) in partnership with CIRCULÉIRE and Ireland’s Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment.
The Circular Venture Pitches showcased a diverse range of ideas—from resource-efficient manufacturing and circular materials to reuse-driven business models and digital innovation. Each pitch demonstrated the creativity, passion, and scientific rigor driving Ireland’s circular transformation.

“Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend the Circular Venture Pitches, an inspiring showcase of some of the most forward-thinking innovators driving Ireland’s transition toward a truly circular economy. Each venture demonstrated how creativity, science and entrepreneurship can rewrite the future of how we produce, use and reuse resources. What struck me most was the clarity of purpose shared across all founders: circularity is no longer a distant ambition — it is an achievable, scalable and economically viable reality.
