Represented by Mauro Amoruso, SITES has successfully participated in the TPM #3 of the New Steps Safe Future EU-funded project, held on 25-26th November at the home partner institution, BGéSZC Öveges József in Budapest. The TPM brought together all partner organisations to reflect on the project’s progress and shape the final stages of work aimed at strengthening climate education through the STEAM methodology.
The gathering opened with a warm welcome from the host team and a shared discussion on the current status of the project. Partners carried out a joint review of the NSSF website and the project’s mobile application, guiding improvements and completing testing to refine its educational functionality. Conversations and insights turned to the Policy Guide and the project’s key outputs, including the development of open educational resources and future collaborations that support long-term use of the project’s tools.
Throughout the first day, consortium members analysed the results of the Online LTTA hosted a few weeks back and worked together on the preparation of the upcoming Multiplier Event while revisiting the progress achieved across all project result areas.
The following day focused on internal management and coordination. The partners reviewed ongoing local and international management activities, with particular attention to QA, dissemination practices, sustainability planning, and evaluation procedures. A dedicated session on financial matters provided clarity for the final reporting period, after which the group reflected on project achievements and the steps required to complete the final report.
SITES’ participation through the contribution of Mauro Amoruso, added valuable input to the technical and strategic discussions, particularly regarding the refinement of digital tools, evaluation approaches and the long-term sustainability of NSSF’s outputs. His involvement supported the shared commitment of all partners to ensure that the final phase strengthens NSSF’s impact on learners, educators and institutions across Europe.
