SITES Attends South East Energy Agency Joint National Conference 2026 in Dublin
Last Thursday, 14 May 2026, SITES consultants Francisco García and Tommaso Spiga attended the Joint National Conference 2026 hosted by the South East Energy Agency in partnership with the EU-funded projects EU PEERS, SCEPA, and DeCarb Pro. Held at the Ashling Hotel, the conference brought together around 100 participants for a full day of discussion and exchange focused on the implementation of the EPBD Recast, energy poverty, and Europe’s pathway toward climate neutrality.
The programme featured project presentations, a high-level panel discussion on the EPBD and One-Stop Shops, as well as interactive workshops dedicated to integrated renovation services and local implementation approaches. Contributors included representatives from the European Commission, the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, the Irish Green Building Council, and several national and European stakeholders working in the field of sustainable renovation and energy transition.
SITES’ participation reflects the organisation’s ongoing commitment to remaining actively engaged in the policy and implementation discussions shaping renovation practices across Ireland and Europe. The event also provided an important opportunity to strengthen collaboration with initiatives such as ENPOWER and other projects contributing to the advancement of sustainable and inclusive energy transition strategies.
Through its continued involvement in European and national stakeholder events, SITES aims to support the exchange of knowledge, foster meaningful partnerships, and contribute to practical solutions addressing energy poverty and climate-neutral renovation pathways.
